Who we are

What we collect
If you join the waitlist, we store:
- the email address you submit
- the time it was submitted
- which page the form was on: the board, pricing, or the calculator
If you subscribe, Stripe collects your email, your card, and a billing address on its checkout page. We never see the card number. From Stripe we keep your Stripe customer id, your email, your plan, its status, and the renewal date, in a Cloudflare KV namespace, so the site knows which plan you're on.
The live board
The live board stores public lot fields Copart already shows in search: lot number, year, make, model, a masked VIN, damage, title type, odometer, location, sale time, and the prices used to score the row. That record lives in a Cloudflare D1 database bound as LOTS. It is not your account and it is not a bid. The browser extension scores the page you have open and keeps fee defaults in the browser. It does not send the listing to us.
What we don't collect
No third-party analytics, ads, or session replay. No cookies for tracking. If you subscribe or sign in, the site sets one signed cookie, fr_s, that holds your Stripe customer id and email so the board knows your plan. It lasts 180 days or until you sign out. The site also stores your paper-or-terminal color choice in your browser and, if the server store is down, the email you tried to submit so you can send it again.
Where the email goes
On the production site the address is written to a Cloudflare KV namespace bound as WAITLIST. The key is signup: plus the lowercased email. If that binding is missing, the server does not store the address and says so.
Local development can write the same record to a file on the machine running the site. That file is not the production list.
Why we keep it
To tell you when something ships, and, for subscribers, to know your plan and handle billing. We don't sell the list, and we don't hand it to an auction company.
How long
Waitlist emails stay until you ask us to delete them or we shut the list down. Billing records stay as long as tax and accounting law requires. Emailhello@theflipradar.comfrom the same address and we'll remove the record.
Children
The site is not for children. Don't submit a child's email.
